A few dance greats send you their best wishes for Blackpool 2023

Paul Killick

Paul specialises in Latin and has won more international titles than we have room for.

So here’s just a glimpse of his mantelpiece – World Cup, World Trophy, World Masters, World Series, Universal and British Professional Latin American DanceSport Championships!

When not polishing silverware, he is also a choreographer, coach, TV personality, dance judge and a world-class adjudicator.

Karen Hardy

Karen started dancing aged 5, which may help explain the following:

The Carl Alan Award (with Bryan Watson). Most Outstanding Latin American Couple, World Masters, Osaka World Trophy, United Kingdom Open, International Open, British National, Italian Open, London Open, Yankee Classic.

Now, Karen is a dance coach and, of course, won Teacher of the Year in 2002 and 2003!

You’ll remember her as a Strictly professional and she’s also an international Grand Slam adjudicator.

Arunas Bizokas

Arunas is Chairman of the World Dance Organisation and hails from Vilnius, Lithuania.

He is a multiple champion ballroom dancer and won the DanceSport World Games in 2005.

Later, he and his partner won the Professional World Ballroom Dance Championship 11 years running, from 2009 to 2019 and in 2013 were ranked No 1 in the world by the WDC.
