Dazzling Events was formed in 2020, just a few months after the WDO and right in the middle of the global pandemic.
It was the brainchild of Darren Hulme, a dancer, teacher and champion who has been dancing for 45 years – long enough to know what makes an event successful and enjoyable for its competitors – and what doesn’t!
This knowledge and experience led to the Dazzling Events mission – to be the promoter that puts the dancer first, creating events by dancers, for dancers.
Trophies and prizes that you keep for ever, affordable ticket prices, classes that reflect the dancing world of today and, of course, Dazzling staging, with superb lighting and a truly exciting, up-to-date atmosphere.
The 2023 Formation World Championship was the first ever Dazzling event and the organisation’s whole focus was on making it an unforgettable occasion and a great success for the most important people involved – the dancers.
2024, see’s the inclusion of many new classes, Senior 1 in Ballroom & Latin. Solo classes for Ballroom & Latin & Classical Sequence classes making our event truly unique.
